This is a special presentation for endometrial and ovarian cancer patients and their families. Dr. Lau will describe robotic assisted surgery, how surgical robots works, how they are used in an hysterectomy, and the differences with open and lap surgery. A patient will then share her history and experience with cancer and robotic assisted surgery. The second part of the webinar will be an open time for questions and answers with Dr. Lau.
