What to Drink with What you Eat? : Wine & Cheese

There is no more classic pairing than wine and cheese. Tonight, sommelier Christie Pollard and chef Josie Pontarelli will send you home with an array of perfect pairing ideas. First up is a buffalo milk mozzarella with lemon and capers served with crisp, cold Spanish Cava, followed by grilled escarole Caesar salad paired with a Chardonnay. Next, Christie and Josie will show you how the make cheese dreams with Taleggio and béchamel served with a glass of Gewurztraminer. We’re not done yet! Christie will show you how Zinfandel goes perfectly with cheese-stuffed meatballs with fig glaze, and Tokay is a great pairing for warm plum tart with creamy gorgonzola.
