What would Happen in Your Life with Reconciliation?
Fri, 10 March 2017, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
Returning to Spirit invites you to a conversation and an opportunity to discover what could happen in Your Life with Reconciliation. Our keynote speakers (Kim Dixon & Christina Draegen) will share their personal experience of the Returning to Spirit Reconciliation workshops.
During three sessions you will discover:
The Deeper Meaning of Reconciliation - RTS has been designing (refining) and delivering reconciliation workshops for the last 15 years (2001), long before the TRC was even established. We have helped to transform the life journey of thousands of people across Canada. RTS was designed by an Aboriginal man, and is rooted in the idea that reconciliation is an individual, spiritual process that requires responsibility for moving forward. Our trainers have experienced transformational shifts in their own personal results and often are living proof that our process moves people forward.
What Reconciliation has to do with You - Our reconciliation process is self-focused - if reconciliation is to happen in a profound way across this country, it will be when individuals themselves are reconciled of the past biases, judgements, and assumptions that we hold about ourselves and others. Reconciliation begins with You! One individual can impact the people around them, and so on and so on to infinity. We are committed to working with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, because both are required in any process of reconciliation. We guarantee that you will discover in one day what Reconciliation has do with you.
Forgiveness is not so complicated - Most people struggle with forgiveness - there are so many myths and misunderstandings out there about how to forgive. Our teaching dispels and debunks many of the reasons why people have with not been able to let go and move forward.
Practical tools that you can use right away - Awareness is a tool - once people can see visually and name what is in their way, then the power that the obstacle holds dissolves. We at RTS pride ourselves on being able to bring simplicity to life’s most complicated issues.
Lunch, coffee/tea/water are included in the ticket price ($30 for General Attendees, $10 for Students and IRS Survivors.)
Space is limited to 90 delegates. Tickets may (possibly) be available at the door based on availability.
