About this event
As a part of SFU Sexual Assault Awareness Month, join us for a participatory workshop on how we build trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices into all aspects of our social justice movements. This event is being created to provide space for local (on campus and within the lower mainland) organisers a space to share where they are at, where we are going, and how we can get there together.
SFPIRG and the SFU SVSPO are pleased to host this event which will feature student speakers for the first hour with the second hour dedicated to creating connections between students at SFU and beyond. This event is organized from the understanding that there is much we can accomplish together - as well as vital support we can offer one another in the work we are doing.
