Event description

Description

A mini retreat for people who feel called to REALLY show up in their own life and in Life itself. This is an opportunity to dive into uncovering and liberating WHO and WHAT we truly are.

  • Friday July 5, 5:45-9:30 PM -- includes light dinner
  • Saturday July 6, 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM -- includes lunch and snacks

We will meet as an intimate group to co-explore and co-discover who we currently believe ourselves to be versus who we truly are, and how that difference plays out in relationships, careers, health and all life’s choices.

We are in a time of massive change! Each of us have contributions to make. The opportunities and challenges can be daunting. By connecting to the truth of ourselves, we can bring more capacity, joy, creativity and effectiveness to everything we’re engaged in and care about. We have more flow, more synchronicity, and more confidence.

This retreat will open a space for an emergent co-exploration of three key qualities for growing our capacities:

  • Foundational Trust – choosing to see Life as friendly, and not our foe.
  • Showing Up – or in geek speak “Self as Instrument” – drawing on Source and honing our best and highest self
  • Dancing with Life – or Conscious Co-creation – partnering with what is seeking to emerge.

So….

Do you want to take your life and work to another level? Do you yearn to be hopeful, positive and impactful in this time of great change? And can you imagine saying YES to all of this from a place of deep trust where even in the most intense situations you find your own ground of being, courage and wisdom?

Please join us as a small band of adventurers as we dive into great possibilities.

This is for you if you:

  • Are saying “Yes” to transformative change in your life and work.
  • Play (or want to play) a leadership role, regardless of your place in a system
  • Know inner shifts support outer impact – from the personal to the systemic.
  • Are willing to take risks and go out of your comfort zone
  • Believe that life could be more fun, even in the most challenging moments.

Under the hood

Three design principles are central to this offering:

  • Embodiment – The body is a wise and direct route to help us bypass the conditioning and confusions of our minds and to find greater joy, aliveness and capacity.
  • Emergence – Be present to and follow what is emerging in this moment, and now this moment, endeavouring to listen from the ground of our being.
  • Inquiry – Reflecting personally and with others into our beliefs, assumptions, and judgements opens doors to new possibilities and ways of being.

You'll leave with:

  • Deeper connection to your authentic self and to the ground of your being
  • Inner work practices for navigating emergence
  • Generative language and frames for navigating obstacles and challenges
  • Better access to your sources of insight, energy and resilience
  • Strong connections with people of like mind and heart in our community

What to bring:

  • Bring your whole self, including your wisdom, gifts and quirky side
  • A challenge, focus area, dream or opportunity you want to explore
  • Willingness to explore, be vulnerable, take risks, not know and trust emergence
  • Your journal or a notebook
  • Your water bottle!
  • Wear loose comfortable clothes

The deeper WHY

The opportunities and challenges we face call us to work in new ways. Beyond working harder and working smarter, we are now invited to “work light” to support breakthroughs and non-linear change.

There are many great tools and practices to unleash collective genius. While these are incredibly helpful and important, it is very high leverage to pay more attention to the person and persons using the tools. We each need to be doing our work, transforming ourselves, to step more fully into our potential and to make our best contributions.
