Event description

Description

The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction, Office of Indian/Multicultural Education and Office of Early Learning have partnered with WIDA Early Years to help support our state’s dual language learners, ages 2.5-5.5 years, in early care and education (ECE) settings. As a key stakeholder in the early care and education of young dual language learners, we invite you to join us for the WIDA Early Years Partnership Kick-Off Meeting.

This event is designed to:

  • Engage stakeholders from across the state in collaborative discussions about the needs and experiences of dual language learners, their families, and the educators who serve them;
  • Provide an overview of our state’s partnership with WIDA Early Years and the resources and professional learning offerings that will be made available to educators and practitioners in our state; and
  • Collect feedback from participants who will help the partnership leadership team prepare to disseminate information and plan for upcoming events.
