Description
McMaster University Libraries and Cochrane Canada will jointly host an event that will focus on Wikipedia’s health content and how we can engage our communities to foster a Wikipedia culture.
The first hour will consist of a panel discussion around Wikipedia and how we can engage our communities to foster a wiki culture, whether that be editing Wikipedia, using Wikipedia, or simply a deeper understanding of wiki culture and the rigorous process of review new articles and revisions undergo.

Alison Baker is a family physician and Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University.
Jennifer Dawson holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine and is currently a Wikipedia Consultant for Cochrane.
Alim Nagji is an emergency physician and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University.
Megan Ogilvie, a graduate of the science writing program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has spent more than a decade writing about health and medicine for the Toronto Star and has recently joined the Star's new data journalism team.
Kimberly Silk is a data librarian and Sr. Planning and Development Officer at Hamilton Public Library.
