Wild, Edible Plant Walk
Sun, 7 May 2017, 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM MDT
City Wildland parks are protected pockets of indigenous wild plants, some even endangered, that were used for hundreds of years by the First peoples of this land and our early European ancestors. Learn to identify 5 native plants, their uses and the habitat they grow in. Meeting the plants and getting to know them at various times of the year allows you to learn their life cycle and what part of the plant is used at what time of year.
