The Vigor Unsung Heroes Awards will start with an 8-day cultural heritage event, including but not limited to featuring an African dance group, a 10k run/ 5k walk by the river side, music, poetry, and drums festival. There will also be a street Parade, carnival-style, and will feature a two-day business conference focusing on agriculture and tourism. The Windsor International Diaspora African Festival (WIDAFest), culminating in the award ceremony and gala, will have great opportunities to network with industry experts, B2B, B2G, and more. Finally, we will close the event at the gala night by honouring individuals who have made an impact by bringing positive changes to the world and by improving and empowering the lives of others.
