Interpretive Winter Birding Walk in the Campbell River Estuary
About this event
BINOCULARS UP - and all eyes on the estuary!
Whether you are new to winter birding or an experienced Campbell River birder, this two-hour walk will widen your wingspan. Greenways is beyond thrilled to announce this first interpretive in-person walk of the 2022 season with our favourite birding expert and former Director, Ray Allan. Ray's knowledge and enthusiasm about birds is infectious. To make sure that all your questions are getting answered, Ray will be partnering up with our newest Greenways staff member, Kyle Fitzpatrick, who can't help it but has fallen for our feathery neighbours as well. Ray and Kyle are going to make a great team.
LIMITED GROUP SIZE --- FULLY-VACCINATED ONLY --- PLEASE WEAR A MASK
Spots are very limited to keep each other safe with social distancing while getting the most out of the walk. We are asking every participant to please email their BC Vaccine Card to info@greenwaystrust.ca prior to the walk to ensure a quick and safe sign-in process at the event. BC Vaccine Cards will be kept on file by Greenways Land Trust for use at future events unless you request otherwise. Once we have received the proof of vaccination and online payment, we will email you the meeting location. Please wear your mask and dress for the weather. The estuary can always feel a little chillier than the rest of town.
