Description

Join us for this inspiring, delightful class of herbal wisdom, recipes, and remedies to thrive through winter!

Has your family struggled with colds and flu in winter? Perhaps you would like to learn more before illness strikes? Are you interested in natural wellness, living in connection with the seasons, and keeping the body balanced naturally? Then this upbeat, wonderful Winter Wellness class is for you!

Learn how to use local wild Alberta herbs, teas, daily tonics, hygiene, and natural remedies daily to stay well, improve immunity, and thrive through winter forevermore! Join Shantel Cooke, from Tanglewood Garden & Farm, as she delightfully shares this info in a fun, easy-to-understand format!

Shantel Cooke, of Tanglewood Garden & Farm Soap and Wellness Apothecary has loved plants for as long as she can remember, from her Grandma’s garden as a child, to designing beautiful, functional gardens, and brewing herbal concoctions, plants have always brought health, joy, and delight into her life.

In 2012, plants gifted Shantel a whole new level of understanding of their powerful healing properties. Her 12 yr old daughter Rheanne was diagnosed with bone cancer. After forced, conventional treatment failed, Rheanne, thankfully, determinedly and awesomely thrived through cancer by utilizing surgery and an extensive holistic toxin-free protocol involving plants and many natural remedies that Shantel administered! She is now doing fantastic and is 6.5 years cancer free! For her full inspiring story visit www.facebook.com/thrivingthroughcancer. Shantel’s connection to, understanding, and love of, plants thereafter forever deepened.

Tanglewood Garden & Farm was born out of the necessity to continue to keep Rheanne as toxin free as possible. Unable to find a healthful soap that met their daily needs and high standards to cleanse the largest detoxification organ -our skin, Shantel set about creating it, after researching the techniques and ingredients to craft the highest quality natural soap possible. Leaning on her acquired knowledge as an award-winning landscape designer and herbalist, it was a natural leap to incorporate the local plants renowned for their skin healing properties into the healthful soap base. This is how Tanglewood Garden & Farm soap was born. And quickly became a local family staple. Her collection has now expanded to include basic skin care and wellness goods. Shantel’s soaps and skin care are beautiful, amazingly scented, and purely organic, with the unique therapeutic benefits derived from traditional and historical healing plants. Empowering and helping families to live a healthy chemical-free lifestyle is a core value of her family run business. In 2018, Shantel also joyously began teaching others of natural wellness, and we are now very excited to have her share her knowledge of how to thrive naturally with us!
