Toronto Networking Meetup

Join us on Wednesday October 18th for the next WiRE Toronto Chapter Networking Meetup.

WiRE meet-ups present a welcoming and casual opportunity to meet peers, share ideas and opportunities, and educate colleagues about projects and initiatives of interest to the group. All women working in a field related to renewable energy are invited, as are students and developing professionals who are looking for perspectives on joining the renewable energy sector.

Featured Speaker: Christine Laperriere, Lead Coach and Executive Director of the Women of Influence Advancement Centre
Presentation: “How to Perform at Your Best without all of the Stress”

Christine Lapierre

Speaker Christine Laperriere is presenting an entertaining and engaging talk targeted towards helping highly motivated women tackle the challenge of feeling too much stress. Christine will address the multiple factors that make us feel this way, she will also touch on the psychology of stress and high-performance behavior.

As Lead Coach and Executive Director of the Women of Influence Advancement Centre, Christine Laperriere is focused on helping leaders enhance their leadership capabilities to grow high performing teams.

Christine started her career with an undergraduate and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. After years as a design engineer, she joined a management consulting firm and gained further expertise on restructuring and implementing organizational change. In 2008 she made the bold decision to begin her own business selling and leading sales training and leadership development programs. Today she helps companies improve workplace culture; implement coaching philosophies into the workplace and helps leaders operate at their maximum potential.

She currently holds certifications in Transformative Coaching, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), psychotherapy, and Miller Heiman business development processes as well as a six-sigma black belt certification. This training and experience informs her ability to support corporate leaders who need to leverage each person’s knowledge, insight, and wisdom more effectively to get business results. In addition to her role as Executive Director, she also teaches a number of corporate and public courses with a focus on business development, corporate culture and personal empowerment.

Christine has worked with numerous companies over the past 12 years of her consulting career and has an archive of blog-talk-radio interviews. She has been featured as a subject matter expert regularly in Women of Influence Magazine for the past four years.

We hope to see you there!
