WISE Town Hall: Impacts of COVID-19 on Graduate Student Experiences
Event Information
About this Event
In this town hall, we will discuss how COVID-19 is impacting graduate students, including research and degree progress, working from home, and teaching virtually, and what we can do together to support our graduate student community. We will hear from graduate student panelists Stefania Cerisano (Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour), Andrea Murillo (Department of Biology), and Celeste Suart (Department of Biochemistry & Biomedical Sciences) as they reflect on their experiences and guide us through these important conversations.
As a participant, you will be encouraged to share your thoughts and perspectives, and ask questions of our panelists, faculty mentors, and WISE committee members. All participants will be invited to complete a pre-survey following registration and will be added to our "WISE x Faculty Town Hall" Microsoft Team so that we can connect with one another, share resources, and continue our discussions
Date and Time: Thursday, December 10th from 1:00 - 2:30 pm
Location: Microsoft Teams (please register on Eventbrite with your McMaster email to be added to the Team and to complete our pre-survey).
