Witches Writing ~ December
Overview
Writers tend to be a solitary lot, but there's a special power that grows when we come together.
With this monthly meeting, we're going to bring together witchcraft and writing. Each session will start with a half-hour(-ish) lesson on magic and creativity, and then we'll spend the rest of the time writing! We'll provide a random writing prompt for anyone who wants to try it, and/or you can work on your own project.
It doesn't matter what you're writing -- fiction, non-fiction, a brochure for work, your daily journal, related to witchcraft or not -- or if you're between projects. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner writer, a professional author with a backlist as long as your arm, or anywhere in between. All writers are welcome.
Bring your laptop, tablet, phone, notebook, or whatever other vessel you're working in. We'll have power bars and extension cords and tea and snacks.
These sessions will be facilitated by Megan, who discovered a love of writing at a young age and pursued writing in post-secondary, but now definitely needs to spend more time working on her writing. (Is this just a ploy to spend her working hours writing? She admits to nothing!)
