I'll let you in on a secret -- no actual golfing will be done! This is an event for networking with other entrepreneurs and a keynote with educational value about how to use golf to support your business. Women in Business Association Strathcona County (WIBASC) is thrilled that Northern Bear Golf Course was announced as the three year hosts for the third stop on the PGA TOUR Canada schedule. The 2023 ATB Classic runs from June 26 to July 2.

Our community is a proud host of this elite sporting event, and we also know the importance within the world of business of hosting elite clients in a round of golf. Seemed like an easy match between WIBASC and golfing! Yet we have heard how women can feel a lack of confidence and knowledge in golf and therefore pass on their most valued guests, often deferring opportunities over to a male colleague. Let’s change that together!

Join us at the Beautiful Northern Bear Course to build up your Business Golf IQ with advice straight from female experts and even a demo from a PGA TOUR Canada Pro, all bundled into the WIBASC wine networking mixer that we all know and love! Don’t stress — you won’t be putting your skills on display, so leave the clubs (and your jeans and heels)at home. Golf clubhouse appropriate attire and footwear please!

6:20 pm | Wine in the Sky Suite at the 18th Hole & watch the pro golfers in action

As an added bonus, each guest who purchases a ticket will receive a voucher for 4 clubhouse passes to bring guests out to watch the tournament over the weekend (Thursday - Sunday)

Clubhouse passes will give you free access to the ATB Classic plus VIP access to come inside the clubhouse (food and beverage will be at your own cost)

Please get your ticket early as this event is packed with value that is sure to sell out. Plan out your ride/carpool, and bring your business cards — lots of networking opportunities throughout an informative evening at this beautiful venue! We will not proceed with the event unless we have a minimum of 75 attending by June 15. You don’t want to be late to this one!

Tickets are non-refundable. If we don’t meet our minimum 75 attendees with reasonable notice, we will be required to cancel the event and Eventbrite will process your refund (less their fees and according to their policies).
