Tea at the Castle 

A fundraiser to support two vital violence-prevention programs in the Westshore:

Royal Roads Student Against Violence project

and

Bridges for Women Westshore; programs for survivors of violence and abuse


International Women’s Day, Westshore 2015

When: Sunday March 8, 2015

Time: 11:30AM-2PM

Where: Hatley Castle, Royal Roads University, Victoria, BC

About the event:  This fundraising event is hosted in partnership between BRIDGES FOR WOMEN and RRUSA Students Against Violence. Funds raised by this event will go directly into programing that benefits women in our community. 

What to expect: Expect to feel like royalty as you are welcomed into to the historic Hatley Castle. Enjoy silent auction sponsored by local Westshore Businesses, and have your photo taken. You can expect to be treated to high tea, served on tiered platters at your table, tea service from the original silver owned by the Dunsmuir family, and SWAG bags valued at over $100. 

Theme of the event: The theme of this event is celebrating women in the Westshore and the amazing work that is happening to create safe spaces for women. This event is intended to be equal parts celebration, recognition, and networking. 

We invite you to come as an individual, purchase a table of 8, or sponsor a women in the community who would otherwise be unable to attend. With limited seating available, we encourage you to book early.

Thank you for supporting the work our organizations do to ensure women can thrive, and our communities can be safe to live, learn, and love.
