Join us for an evening of invigorating sharing and learning at the Women In Leadership April Social. For this month’s social, we shine the spotlight on STRESS. A healthy mindset is essential to productive leadership; in this interactive session we’ll discuss ways to detox your life of the inhibiting stress so many professional women feel. In the beautiful Gallery Space of the Gesamtkunstwerk Exhibit, guest speaker and yoga expert Jay Suttonbrown will share simple and proven methods for managing stress.
Keynote Speaker: Jay Suttonbrown, BA, BEd, RYT
Jay Suttonbrown approached yoga 20 years ago while working on a challenging university program in Northern California. The yoga fire was sparked. Her practice grew as she engaged various streams of professional life, consistently providing a greater sense of peace. Her professional roles have ranged from Special Needs Teacher, Managing Director of a Non-Profit, Business Director of a Medical Corporation and Founder of an Internet Startup. Each of these roles provided powerful lessons and insights about collaboration and well-being. In 2007, she dedicated herself solely to her yoga practice, and became a Yoga Teacher. Her unique approach to stress management and resiliency has helped countless clients resolve their stress related issues, and improve their health. Her methods are simple, easy to understand, and proven effective in changing lives. Utilizing humour, joy, and plain language, she shares the love of yoga. Jay is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance, and hold additional certifications in the practice of Kundalini and Prenatal Yoga.
