Women in tech peer-to-peer: Product design
On February 28, join the DMZ's second women in tech peer-to-peer, a monthly series organized in partnership with TD Bank and the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN), to network with other incredible women across the Toronto and Waterloo tech sector.
The session will feature Andréa Crofts, a Product Designer at TWG, one of Canada's leading software design and development studios. Andréa will touch on design’s role in creating business value, as well as key product design principles and best practices for creating exceptional digital experiences. She'll also touch on the future of design (tooling and interface trends). For founders and startups, she'll shed some light on the product management principles she's learned from working with both high-growth startups and enterprise clients (e.g., Wealthsimple, RBC Bank and WorldVision, to name a few).
In addition to highlighting tricks of the trade, Andréa will also share the personal journey that led her to a career as a product designer, and the steps she took to get there.
Refreshments will be provided.
