Description

Women Leading in the Political Arena

  • You are intrigued by the political landscape.
  • You are called to lead.
  • You believe in using your voice and inspiring others to engage and shape their community, province or country.
  • You are ready to influence citizen engagement and the political process.

Join us for this interactive workshop where you will explore the leadership backpack needed in the political arena.

Women and Politics is excited to host this event for women to explore their aspirations for political and citizen engagement. Louise Pitre and Janet Frood have teamed up to create this dynamic and provocative learning experience. Participants will develop their unique path for leading with strength, courage and authenticity.

You will leave with:

  • An understanding and claiming of your personal power
  • Tools to navigate the power challenges
  • Strategies to be courageous and resilient in the political arena

Inspired by the work of Brene Brown, Margaret Wheatley and Julie Diamond, frameworks and tools will be provided to set your intention for leadership and action. You’ll create an individual plan while working in a supportive environment with other women.

As part of Women & Politics London’s 50 For London: It’s Our Turn campaign, this workshop is one more investment to support women who choose to step into the political arena whether as a candidate for municipal, provincial or federal government, a campaign leader or supporter, a School Board trustee, or an activist.
