Women United Presents: A Conversation with Dr. Vera Etches
Event Information
About this Event
As International Women’s Day 2021 will take place the same week as the anniversary of the World Health Organization’s characterization of COVID-19 as a “pandemic,” join Women United for a discussion about a year in crisis and women leading the fight against the pandemic.
United Way East Ontario’s Women United is proud to present, A Conversation with Dr. Vera Etches. As the City of Ottawa’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Etches has been a true leader in our community’s response to COVID-19.
During this virtual event, Dr. Etches will share her experiences over the past year, reflect on the long-term challenges facing our communities, and how we can work toward a more equitable future.
There is no cost to attend. However, we invite you to consider making a donation to support Women United and our investment in women and their families facing issues that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
