Facilitated round table dinner talk led by industry experts on the topic of empowering the busy women and their wellness with cannabis.

About this Event

Hosted in exclusive venues, we bring together established and emerging female speakers who are redefining the cannabis narrative for the contemporary women. An intimate evening of candid storytelling, dinner and discussion and connection with like minded women and men through a shared feast and digesting new ideas about wellness practices.

Feature Focus:Managing burn out through the evolving stages of life. Exploring the wellness rituals and best approaches from the perspective of a busy professional, a parent and aging boomer.

Featured Speakers:At this dinner round table, we are proud to have Miz D of The Cannatherapy Concept, Danielle McInnis of Canna Parents and Annaliese Kibler of Cannexions sharing their cannabis journey.

Dinner Fee: There is no entrance fee for this event, just a purchase of dinner. It is suggested around $30 for a la carte and $75 for 3 course meal.

About Speakers:

Miz D @dvibzDanielle Jackson, known simply as Miz D, is an artist, advocate and entrepreneur from Vancouver, BC. She's a licensed medical cannabis enthusiast and colourful baby boomer known for her signature ‘Doprah’ style.As CEO of Dvibz and one of the few pioneers to successfully transition from legacy to legal industry, she began crafting her own little hempire with consulting services that range from cannabis education to luxury cannatourism. Supporting other entrepreneurs in their ventures over the past several years has allowed her to participate in the cultural evolution of cannabis in meaningful, rewarding ways.A recognized thought leader and mentor, Miz D loves to collaborate with other heart centred and consumer-focused brands to create innovative opportunities for personal growth. She calls both Canada and Mexico home, is blessed with a large, extended family and enjoys her cannacentric life with husband/business partner Steve and their fur-baby, Buddha.

Annaliese Kibler @cannalieseAnnaliese Kibler, Director of Regulatory Affairs for Aurora Cannabis. Annaliese is a consumer, plant scientist, and prominent member of the cannabis industry. Annaliese completed a BSc. and MSc. in the Plant Sciences, with a focus on medicinal and endangered plant species.Initially, she worked in cannabis research when the MMPR first came into effect. Combining her love of cannabis & community, she continues to work in the industry at Aurora Cannabis Inc in a variety of roles and is currently the Regulatory Affairs Manager.She is the former co-chair of Women Grow in Vancouver, a co-founder and current VP of Operations at CaneXions. She is also a trained Cannatherapy Consultant. Annaliese is an avid ambassador of Cannabis and has been invited to speak internationally at events on a variety of subjects such as cannabis botany, consumer education, regulatory landscape and product development.

Danielle McInnis @moms.who.toke.are.dopeDanielle McInnis has consumed Cannabis for health issues as a form of natural treatment for about 16 years. She is an advocate for parents, mostly mom’s who consume Cannabis, by sharing her Cannabis journey in life with everyone she meets as well as on social media platforms, in hopes to help normalize it. She has spoken on panel’s and podcasts about Cannabis and parenting and how we can fit that in today’s world, in Canada.She chooses Cannabis as her medicine because of living with chronic pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis, (diagnosed 2016) and for her Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (diagnosed 2014 - the 3rd case where her joints dislocate.)She is working hard to launch Canna Parents a website for Canadian parents who already consume, or are new to Cannabis, by the end of 2019.
