Event description
Join the Stratford Perth Centre For Business and investStratford for an evening of community and conversation in celebration of Women’s Day.

About this Event

Join the Stratford Perth Centre For Business and investStratford for an evening of community and conversation in celebration of Women’s Day 2021.

Recognizing that our world and the way we communicate has changed, we’ve decided to host an event dedicated to re-igniting our passion for conversation and connection as women in 2021.

This event will examine how we connect and support each other virtually, and how vital this skill will be for our future mental, physical and financial health.

This event will be 90 minutes long and will ebb and flow, mimicking a traditional networking event, except inside our virtual space.

You will find opportunities to collaborate, communicate, and connect with women in business, entrepreneurship, and those carving out a brand new path for themselves.

The evening will be hosted by Stratford's own, Laurin Padolina, and our special guest speaker, Emily Chung, owner and operator of Autoniche, who will share their personal evolution over the past year and lead conversations inside our break out rooms.

As our thank-you for your continued support during this challenging time, we will be delivering a gift bag to attendees who reside locally, in a safe, contactless manner.

Laurin Padolina is a Broadway performer turned Tradie Lady. The jump from the arts into the trades was driven by the need to create economic stability for her family.

Welding in an agricultural community offered Laurin an equally dynamic career as she had in the arts industry. And with the benefit of consistent work, welding has allowed for a variety of opportunities to engage and serve her community like this year’s virtual Women’s Day event.
