About this event

Note: we define "women" as anyone who identifies within the spectrum of womanhood.

About this Event

The Pitch Roundtable combines pitch practice with peer Q&A and expert feedback to help you build your pitch skills and get pitch ready.

This event is being offered through Discovery Foundation's Regional Investor Readiness Program, a three-pronged program delivered by Volition to help startups across BC, Canada, build knowledge and skills to get investor and/or market ready.

Who this is for

This event is for entrepreneurial women who..

  • Are BC-based (i.e., have operations in the province of BC, Canada)
  • Are ready to launch or have already launched their startup and are working on their fundraising and/or launch strategy (note: this can include crowdfunding and non-equity fundraising)

What to Expect

During this Pitch Roundtable, you will be given 15 dedicated minutes to pitch and receive feedback. You will have:

  • Pitch (up to 5 mins): deliver your pitch to your peers + Volition Pitch Coach
  • Peer Q&A (5 mins): the other startups in the room are invited to ask clarifying questions, much like you would experience in a competition or investor forum.
  • Feedback: Your Volition Pitch Coach provides strategic feedback on your pitch structure, design, and delivery, to set you up for success for future pitches.
