Women's Yoga Circle - Meditation, Breath, Intuitive Yoga

Bi-Weekly on Thursdays from 7 PM - 9 PM

For centuries, women have gathered in a circle to share, connect and learn. These circles provide a sacred space where women can practice being vulnerable together and support each other’s personal healing. This experiential intuitive yoga class is held in a safe and sacred space for women to come together, use their voices, be heard, seen and witnessed. Intuitive yoga is a process of learning how to use the body as a spiritual compass to enhance body-based consciousness.

We'll explore modalities from breath-work, creative asana, intuitive and authentic movement, play, eye-gazing, mirroring, dance, shaking medicine, dynamic meditation, sound healing, interception, and self-inquiry.

We close our practice by coming into meditation, opening up the circle to discuss visions, thoughts, and feelings. Hearing stories from other women fosters empathy and helps us feel less alone. By slowing down and being mindful, each woman will feel like her voice is heard. It is a place where we discover and integrate new blueprints that serve the women we are becoming.

About me: For the past 24 years I have immersed myself in yoga, meditation and psychotherapy communities. I've lived in Nepal Hill Stations in the Himalayas with Tibetan Monks and Sherpas studying Buddhism and Meditation, I've sat with Swami's and Sanyasi Ascetics renouncing worldly attachments on the foot of the Ganga River in India, meditating on suffering and impermanence after losing my mother. I lived in alternative communities in the jungles and islands of Thailand and India for almost a decade; I am a seeker and lover of sacred ceremony, ritual and embodied psycho-spiritual practices.
