The McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health (U of C) brings you a FREE forum on back and spine health with information on the latest research advances in disc degeneration, pain management, spine imaging and exercise programs.

10:00 AM to Noon (Doors open at 9:30 AM)

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free parking on-site and CTrain access is within walking distance from Banff Trail LRT Station

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your printed ticket or display it on your phone so that we can tally our number of attendees.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes.

How is the event program structured?

Each speaker will talk for about 10-15 mins. Presentation slides will be shown on a large screen behind the speaker. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions towards the end during our speaker panel (approx. 45 minutes in length).

How do I know if the event is worth attending?

In order to gauge whether you would benefit from attending, feel free to email the McCaig Institute after September 1st to learn what specific topics will be addressed by each speaker.

Will the event be recorded?

The event will be videotaped and recordings will be uploaded on our YouTube channel

Will food and drink be available?

Yes, free light refreshments will be provided but you should probably eat breakfast ahead of time.
