Covid-19 is preventing me from teaching in person throughout the Winter and maybe Spring. Many of you told me you aren't sure about using Zoom for online learning or if you can even understand how Zoom works. I'm hosting a Zoom Open House on Saturday November 7, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. I want to give you an opportunity to test Zoom, see if you like it, and see if you would be comfortable in one of my online workshops.

I want to invite avid Zoom users to bring a project to work on and we can chat and answer any questions the new Zoom users have. This is in an Open House style so even though the event is listed from 10 - 1, you can stop in any time during that time, even if it's for 15 minutes. You have to register to receive the Zoom log-in details. I hope to "see" you there.

Cathy sculpts her unique creations by connecting wool fibers: whether it’s stabbing wool with a barbed needle OR using hot water and agitation. She's been an artist her entire life working in craft, digital art, and hand drawn illustrations. She likes working with wool because it’s organic, making each creation unique. With a love for animals and the outdoors, felting was an obvious choice for her as an artistic medium, because she can sculpt nature art using natural materials. She enjoys spreading the love of felting through workshops and DIY craft kits. Cathy's been needle felting since 2014 and teaching to eager students since 2016.
