Event description
Work and Life Balance - Learn how to balance your time

About this Event

Recent data from the Canadian Health Institute places Alberta near the top of the heap when it comes to feeling stressed. The pace of life is quicker here than in other parts of the Country. One in five men suffer from serious anxiety or depression. For women it’s even worse, one in four. A common cause of anxiety is an unhealthy balance between work and other life priorities.

It’s a big cost for organizations too. Organizations are spending billions of dollars to deal with worker absenteeism, depression and stress management. That’s the direct cost. Often overlooked is the hidden costs associated with lack creativity, errors and poor decisions.

The Workshop objectives:

• Understand your personal priorities and their relationship to your allocation of time

• Convey techniques on how to make more conscious choices about the use of your time

• Feel good about what is accomplished and greater comfort in leaving less important things “on the back burner”

Registration Requirements:

English level of Benchmark 5 is the minimum requirement needed to participate in these workshops.
