Event description

Python has grown to become the dominant language both in data analytics and general programming.

Dask provides ways to scale Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and Numpy workflows with minimal rewriting and integrates well with these tools so that it copies most of their API and uses their data structures internally. Moreover, Dask is co-developed with these libraries to ensure that they evolve consistently, minimizing friction caused by transitioning from workloads on a local laptop, to a multi-core workstation, and to a distributed cluster.

In this webinar, we will walk through some of the features of Dask, and discuss strategies for using Dask on both your laptop and on Compute Canada clusters.
