Description

Promoting Psychological Safety In The Workplace.

Prevention, Intervention & Repair.

With recent changes to the OHS Act/Code and Legal implications in BC, Alberta, and several other Provinces in Canada, which include definitions of harassment, psychological harassment (bullying), all professions will need to be equipped for their roles of ie: advocacy, social justice, resource recommendations and referrals, identifying signs and symptoms, counselling and/or clinical treatment, and especially methods to offer prevention, early intervention, and options for repair or restoration.

This course goes beyond the basics and offers insight into the human experience and complexities of workplace psychological harassment (bullying). This course will assist social workers experiencing workplace bullying directly, and or offer them skills to assist their clients seeking support and direction. We cannot successfully address this multi-layered issue without a holistic perspective on these complex and sensitive cases. Our main focus is prevention, early intervention and repair options.

This course will benefit all leaders, human resources, safety officers, unions, insurance lawyers & medical teams.

All attendees will receive a completion certificate, refreshments, snacks & lunch
