Have you ever been in situation where an idea you presented was met with resistance in the workplace? Perhaps, you were challenged with objections that negated an idea, initiative or strategy you felt had merit in bringing wellness to the forefront in helping to shape a healthier culture. How can we overcome inertia, fear of change, and resistance to new ideas in the workplace? Let’s talk about strategies and tools for creating a positive environment, the capacity to truly meet people where they are at and yet also inspire them to look at something new and innovative.
Wellness isn’t a new concept. However, it still requires a tactical and mindful approach to ensure you are creating buy-in at all levels. Perhaps you have an example to share with us. Rather than focusing on the problems, let’s talk about solutions for implementing change for the better.
What is the Workplace Wellness Think Tank all about? It's about conversations, collaboration and driving action. Some conversations are better in person, and this is an opportunity to discuss solutions to the challenges that we face with a supportive community. Alone we may not have all of the answers, but as a community, we hold a vast amount of knowledge waiting to be uncovered and we can find solutions and be the catalysts for healthy change in the workplace. Together let's navigate workplace wellness and shift the mindset from cost to investment; from reaction to prevention. Workplace Wellness is more than a program, like organizational culture it is the backbone to an organization's success.

$10 (+GST and Eventbrite admistrative costs) will help us offset the cost of these events. You will receive a light breakfast and morning refreshments (yes, we have coffee!). Payment will be accepted through Eventbrite only. The cost of these events is able to remain low due to the dedicated volunteer planning team and generous sponsors.
What To Expect
7:00 - 7:25 am - Check in, enjoy a light breakfast and meet others who value workplace wellness and culture.
7:30 - 8:15 am - Conversation Cafes - connect, share, inspire and create solutions!
8:15 - 8:30 am - Wrap up and next steps. We are always thinking about what we can do as a community to take action.
8:30 - 9:00 am - If you need to take off to work, this is the time. Or better yet, stick around to continue the conversations!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Lifestyle Meditation is located West of Downtown and Kingsway Mall in the Queen Mary Park neighourhood. There is a parking lot avalible.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We will have someone check you in. Just let us know your name when you arrive and it's as easy as that!
