Event description
Want help to reflect on your leadership journey? Join us for an inspirational evening of leadership stories and networking.

About this Event

Building off the success of our article on Building Your Own Personal Advisory Board, Works For Women has curated a number of local leaders from the Edmonton community to be your human library. Our library will provide a number of unique perspectives on being a leader, developing resiliency and mentoring others. The evening will provide you with an opportunity to hear unique leadership stories, network and reflect on your own leadership story.

The event will kick off with a signature story and then you will have an opportunity to chose the other "books" you explore. You will have an opportunity to engage in dialogue with the "books" and other guest exploring the library.

We have an amazing variety of "books" in store for you including:

  • Verna Yiu, MD, FRCPC (President and CEO, Alberta Health Services)
  • Hon.A.Anne McLellan P.C., O.C., A.O.E. (Senior Advisor, Bennett Jones)
  • Myrna Khan (VP University Relations, Grant MacEwan University)
  • Scott Edwards (Head Coach, Pandas Basketball, University of Alberta)
