This 7 hour, provincially-recognized course is intended for community kitchen leaders who want to learn the basics about safe food handling in a friendly classroom environment. Qualified instructors answer all of your food safety questions:
- What should we be concerned with when handling food in our kitchens?
- What are best, safe food-handling practices?
The GVFB workshops supports community organizers and facilitators in their roles. If you work in a community kitchen, food bank, meal program or are coordinating workshops in your community, this workshop is perfect for you.
This workshop may be cancelled or rescheduled if participation is low. If this workshop must be cancelled, registered participants will be given 72 hour notice.
