Brought to you by the Saskatoon Branch of Lean Construction Institute - Canada:
An Introduction to Lean Project Delivery (LPD)
- Lean Philosophies & Foundations
- Introduction to suite of Lean Tools
- Case Studies demonstrating the Business Case for LPD
- Simulation Exercise to Demonstrate Immediate Value
Design and Construction processes can be large and complex, and providing real-world improvement solutions within the current business is difficult within a one or two-day training session. This session is designed to introduce you to the foundations of Lean Project Delivery, to introduce a suite of tools that can be applied in LPD, and to carry out a simulation exercise to help demonstrate the business value of implementing LPD.
Lean simulations are small, compact, short and impactful. They are designed to be performed in a quiet classroom, so that business operations are not interrupted during the learning process, and they allow the student to experience a real application of new knowledge.
The simulation for this workshop has been selected to help show the value of continuing with the LPD transition, and to show how future workshops on each Lean Tool will be taught and experienced.
Come join us for a half-day workshop to introduce yourself to Lean Project Delivery, or bring your team members to help them get on board with this positive shift to LPD that you'd like to implement.
This course is part of a series of learning, each designed to build on the last and resulting in full credits towards a certification program currently under development under Lean Construction Institute - Canada. Credits earned now can be applied toward the certification once it is formalized.
