Do you have newcomers and immigrants in your work teams? Are you supporting them to immigrate?

Building successful culturally diverse teams needs new approaches and strategies. In this workshop, Whistler Welcome Centre and Whistler Immigration will explore how supporting your employees through both settlement and immigration processes is key. Participants will increase their:

• awareness and understanding of how the settlement process and cultural differences impact the workplace and your teams

• intercultural knowledge and sensitivity to address these

• understanding of what is required to support your employees through the immigration process

• understanding of how to manage business and employee expectations through this process
