INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY:

Kathleen O’Reilly is an actor and theatre devisor from Victoria, BC. Kathleen’s passion and curiosity for the power of theatre led her to obtain a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the University of Victoria in 2014 with a specialization in Acting. Kathleen went on to participate in a research project in Cuddalore, India on Intergenerational Theatre. A graduate of Tumbleweeds Theatre Co. also led her to be an instructor for their seasonal and summer courses for many years. You may have seen her in many past shows of Impulse Theatre such as Wolf in The Mirror, a few seasons of Theatre SKAM’S summer SKAMPEDE festival (Threadless- Impulse Theatre, TrashTales - Kerploding Theatre and RE-GRETTA - Astral Jazz Theatre), as well Bridge Bridge Theatre’s Long Days Journey Into Night, Kerploding Theatre (Word Play, TRUNK!) . In 2016 Kathleen moved to Toronto to perform at Rhubarb Festival (Shadow Girls, Pencil Kit Productions) and SummerWorks (DIVINE, Storefront Theatre) and toured to Halifax Fringe Festival with Kerploding Theatre before she was accepted to study at École Internationale de Théâtre de Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France. In preparation for her second year of studies there, Kathleen is very excited to be returning home to Victoria to recharge and connect to her roots!

ACCESSIBILITY:

The venue has three steps into the foyer, and five steps into the studio space. There is one gender neutral washroom upstairs accessed through a narrow staircase with about twenty steps.
