About this event
Workshop Theatre Presents: The Kids Cushion Cabaret "The Legend of Robin Hood"
Written by Anne Hodgson
Directed by Anne Hodgson and Jacqueline Strilchuk
The legendary character, Robin Hood, along with his friends, Little John, Alan-a-Dale, and Maid Marian, continually outwit the greedy, evil Sheriff of Nottingham. Everything the Sheriff steals, they steal back, and return to the rightful owner. The Sheriff has had enough! He and his wacky sidekick servant, Bigglewump, devise a plan to capture Robin…an archery contest with a golden arrow the prize for the winner. The Sheriff is convinced Robin will not be able resist entering this big event. This will be the trap he uses to finally catch him! With the help of his friends, particularly Maid Marian, once again, Robin outwits the Sheriff! This is a fast paced, fun, interactive play filled with humour and adventure!
