Improve your understanding personal financial planning! This workshop will help you plan your future finances, with an overview of the Canada Pension Plan, old age security, and other retirement income sources. The facilitator will also cover other investment strategies.
Speaker: John Law, PFP, RBC Financial Planner
Originally from London, UK, John moved to Ottawa with his wife in 2010. His background includes studying Economincs and Statistics at Dulwich College in London and at the University in Exeter, UK. John has over a decade of experience working in corporate tax accounting, derivative trading and now personal financial planning.
John creates personal financial strategies that are custom-built to his clients and their unique situations. These strategies are based on each person's financial profile, and consider such things are present financial situation, goals, investment experience and feelings about risk. They have built-in flexibility to respond to the changing world, and identify the financial and investment solutions needed to achieve short-term goals and those that change throughout each stage of life.
