Actions and Detail Panel
World AIDS Day at the University of Toronto
Wed, 30 November 2016, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST
UTIHP's Global Health Engage will be hosting the annual World AIDS Day conference at U of T on November 30th from 6-8 PM in Hart House Great Hall. The day presents the opportunity for local and global communities to continue the conversation on persisting issues and accomplished successes of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. On this night, we celebrate and share the efforts and experiences of the many who have dedicated their lives to eradicating HIV/AIDS, which affects 34 million people worldwide.
This year's theme is disclosure. We will be hosting a moderated panel with our six distinguished speakers to discuss what HIV/AIDS disclosure means in different communities and in the context of sociology, public and global health, scientific research, and law.
All UofT students, administration, faculty, and members of the public are invited to attend. We also encourage all to wear RED to the event.
