Description

Hosted by CISDL, McGill Journal of SD Law & Intl Law Association, with McGill University and University of Montreal Faculties of Law

How can international law and governance reform contribute to the SDGs, and what are the most promising regional advances? Which treaties and instruments can support the SDGs, in Africa, Asia, the Americas, Middle East, the Pacific and Europe? What is the role of regional courts and tribunals? How can regional environmental accords, trade and investment agreements, and human rights instruments foster a greener economy, and more sustainable development?

In this international legal experts roundtable, intervenors will share and learn of the most recent regional treaties, disputes and other advances in sustainable development law, expanding their knowledge and identifying exciting regional avenues for new research, teaching and legal innovation.
