Worrier to Warrior - Through Meditation & Mindfulness

A One Day Urban Retreat | Saturday 1 September | 10:00am-1:00pm

There are many uncertainties in our life in the modern world. When we respond with worry and experience anxiety, our mind becomes tight and uncomfortable and it can be difficult to think clearly or enjoy anything. Through Buddhist meditation, we will learn how to replace worry with positive, constructive ways of thinking so that we can enjoy life with confidence.

About the Teacher

Rose Hirano is a long term practitioner and has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism and meditation for over 10 years. Rose is a student on the Teacher Training Program and shares Buddha’s teachings in a way that is applicable to everyone’s busy daily life. She is a warm-hearted and dedicated volunteer member of the spiritual community.

Doors open from 9:15am. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the first session.




Course Schedule

The course will consist of three sessions and two breaks. Each session will include guided meditation and a talk. There will also be a chance to ask questions.

10:00-10:45am | Retreat Session

10:45-11:15am | Tea Break

11:15-12:00pm | Retreat Session

12:00-12:15pm | Tea Break

12:15-1:00pm | Retreat Session
