About this Event
As Richmond Hill United Church reopens the physical space, we have put every possible safety measure in place.
The following safety rules have been implemented - all persons are expected to adhere to these:
- Registration is required for seats each Sunday, with a maximum of 50 persons
- Registration starts three days (the Thursday) before each Sunday service (PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER IN ADVANCE OF 3 DAYS)
- Registration ends by noon on the Saturday before each Sunday service
- Families may sit together, but each person must be registered separately
- Masks are required, except for children under the age of five, individuals who have trouble breathing, hearing impaired, or those requiring assistance to use a mask
- Enter only through the main Yonge St., doors
- Walk only in the direction designated by the ushers to reduce moving past each other
- Maintain physical distancing, stay 2 meters (6 feet) away from other persons
- Practice hand hygiene and use hand sanitizer
- Avoid touching all surfaces, doorknobs, handrails, etc., as much as possible
Do NOT enter the church if you have:
- a temperature equal to or over 38°C
- a new or worsening cough
- a shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- been feeling feverish
- chills
- fatigue or weakness
- muscle or body aches
- a new loss of smell or taste
- a headache
- gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting)
- been feeling very unwell
- been tested positive for COVID-19
- been in contact with a COVID-19 positive individual over the past two weeks
- travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days
Please remember that there will always be risks of contracting a viral or other infection through large gatherings.
