Event description
WOW has brought 150 women together in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. There will be no mountains, but we can still stay connected.

About this Event

WOW- The Virtual Experience is an opportunity to take a day for YOU! You can connect with like-minded individuals for a day of self-care, growth and celebration.

Join us for the full day 9:00am-9:00pm or pop in and out as your schedule allows.

Check out these amazing presenters

AND that's not all... WOW has partnered with Story Slam Works because Sharing stories is powerful. Stories motivate, connect, inspire and transform.

It's incredibly important for leaders and business owners to know how to tell our story. Story Slam Works is the place for that. We take the popular and successful format of Story Slam and combine it with business. We tell stories about our work.

This is not a pitch night and this is not a bitch night.

This is a night to talk about the work we do in a meaningful way. The good and the bad.

Listen to leaders and entrepreneurs making a difference.

Learn what makes stories work.

Hear performers use the power of story to create an environment for connection and be inspired by different ideas of what it means to work.

Come if you want:

To hear amazing stories

To learn to communicate better

To be inspired and challenged

Performers for this night are members and graduates of the Story Power program - you're hearing from the best!

* * *So, what is Story Slam Works?

It's a competition.

May the best storyteller win.

Here's how it works:

Stories must be (mostly) true and about you

Stories can be up to 10 minutes in length, you lose points for going overtime

No notes or reading aloud

The primary purpose of the story cannot be to sell a product or service or to vent and/or complain about an individual, service, experience or organization (Blah! Who wants to listen to that!)

You've gotta tell a story. Like, a legit story. That means: Plot structure! A beginning, middle and end! Characters! And, because we're all about building your storytelling skills for real-life experience, it also means you speak in prose as opposed to other forms of spoken word such as poetry or stand-up comedy.

Three random judges will be chosen from the audience and they will award each storyteller a mark out of 10

Storytellers compete for the title of Master Storyteller, and massive bragging rights!
