ABOUT TREY ANTHONY:
Trey Anthony is a professional motivational speaker, award-winning writer, producer, and comedian! She is the creator behind 'Da Kink in my Hair theatrical show, and television show. The play, 'Da Kink in my Hair, is also the recipient of 4 NAACP Theatre Awards. She is the first African Canadian woman to have her own television show on a prime time network. She has a huge social media following and appeals to a big female demographic. She is a former television producer for the Women’s Television Network (now W) and a writer for the Comedy Network and CTV. She is also a contributing writer for the Toronto Star and Huffington Post. Trey Anthony is an Oprah fan and a lover of great books and ideas! She has a huge laugh that folks recognize anywhere! She was also the Executive Producer of the Urban Women's Comedy Festival, dat girl, sho is funny! Trey co-wrote I Am Not A Dinner Mint, The Crap Women Swallow to Stay in a Relationship, which debuted in 2006 to sold-out audiences. In addition to ‘da Kink, Trey is also the Executive Producer of the hit play, Secrets of a Black Boy. She is currently manifesting how to adapt 'da Kink and Secrets of a Black Boy into feature films. She is also currently finishing her first draft of her fictional novel, Bastards, and mint chocolate chip ice cream! Trey Anthony is an award winning playwright, television actress, and comedian. She is the first Black woman to produce her own show on a prime time network.
