The Calgary Sexual Health Centre is at We Should Know Each Other #100!
Who We Are
The Calgary Sexual Health Centre is a community-based organization that provides access to non-judgmental sexual and reproductive health services and support across the lifespan.
Today, we are the only non-profit in Calgary that offers a broad range of programs and services that address sexual health issues in a comprehensive way for families, youth, adults, and seniors across a spectrum of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and level of ability.
The Calgary Sexual Health Centre is turning 40! As part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations the Calgary Sexual Health Centre is proud to be a part of WSKEO100. Doing what we do best, we will be offering sexual health workshops Saturday the 29th of September, 2012, at the King Edward School space in room #406 (top floor). Please look for our other event pages for our other workshops and times.
Talking With Your Kids
10:00-10:30 Sat, Sept. 29th, 2012
This workshop is designed to give parents a brief intro to talking to their kids about human sexuality. Parents will learn about ages and development stages of children and what is maybe appropriate to talk about at each stage. For many parents this may be an awkward topic so we’ll talk about ways to break the ice and participate in a lifelong conversation around healthy sexuality.
