The idea of WSW came from the most simplest of things, two female fellow business owners and their mutual respect and genuine desire to support one another. Lilla Balint and Shellie Willms are two of Yorkville's youngest female entrepreneurs! Together, they created "Shop Local - Women Supporting Women" as a passion project meant to embrace the shared kindred spirit of ambitious female entrepreneurs across the GTA. Both incredibly passionate about their respective boutiques, Shellie and Lilla have decided to partner alongside other local shop owners to host the first annual shopping event in celebration of International Women's Day. The shopping event is meant to support female business owners and their respected passions and of course do what women love most; SHOP. This event is set to take place on Saturday March 9, 2013 at the Park Hyatt in Yorkville!
