Description

In partnership with Centre for Women in Business, this two hour workshop will introduce you to the business model canvas. This framework will assist in growing your unique idea and innovation into a viable business, and allow you to better define areas within your business such as key partners, customer relationships, and more. You will also be introduced to a thriving community of women business owners across all industries and sectors in Nova Scotia.

This workshop will be facilitated by Centre for Women in Business Advisors, Laurie Sinclair, Senior Business Development Officer; and Nasil Nam, Innovation and Technology Specialist.

About Laurie Sinclair
Laurie asks the tough questions, and uses her proficiency in numbers, stats and research to help business owners solve problems and meet their full potential.As a tech sector entrepreneur, Laurie understands the challenges that go along with business ownership, and she delves deep to deliver customized solutions. She comes at problems with the patience of an experienced educator, and the savvy of a seasoned accountant.

About Nasil Nam
Nasil is an Innovation and Technology Specialist at the Centre for Women in Business. She is also leading student entrepreneurial programs, the RBC Alliance of Young Women Entrepreneurs (AYWE) and the Spark Zone. As an entrepreneur, she is a co- founder of Chrisil, which designs jewelry travel wallets. For the last two years, she has been selling her jewelry travel wallets on the online markets in North America, South Korea and South Africa.
