Our Online Life Drawing and Portrait Drawing is open to members and non members alike. The same as our in-person sessions, all skill levels are welcome. In fact, beginners or those who can't get out may be even more comfortable working in their own space to begin with. If you have any concerns about group gatherings or our in-person sessions are not available, this is a great option.

Xchanges is offering a variety of 2 hour, and 1 hour sessions 6 times a week. Full details about the sessions can be found on our website:

Wednesday and Thursday mornings Session Format:

For the Long Pose sessions the model keeps the same pose for 3 weeks in a row, allowing artists to develop more detailed work.

Registration and Payments:

In-Person: $12.50 members, $17.50 non members

Online: $10 members, $15 non members CAD

Registration and payment in advance is required.

About Xchanges Artists' Gallery and Studios:

Xchanges was founded in 1967 and is the oldest Artist-Run-Centre in Canada, located in Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island on the unceded Coast Salish territories. We are a non profit registered Charity and fully run by volunteers; there are no paid staff. We support artists and the community by providing affordable studio space for making art, a public gallery for showing art, and run programs like our Life Drawing to continue learning and building art skills and community.
