Halalt Elder Joe Norris and Willie Sinclair of Hulitun Health Society offer a workshop-style presentation on “engaged academic research with Indigenous communities.” This workshop will offer insights from an Indigenous perspective on research and researchers, understanding partnership, as well as the importance of place and identity in research.
All VIU community members are welcome. There will be opportunity for questions. The presentation and associated activity will take about 2 hours including lunch which will be provided. Contact Roisin Mulligan by May 12 re. dietary restrictions.
