About this event

Conclude the end of the year with International Services for Students and join us for a formal dinner and celebration. Enjoy an evening of good food, dance, and fun.

All current SFU students are welcome to attend. Tickets are limited - please register early.

Family members are welcome to attend, including children. Please note there will be music and alcohol will be served. No childcare will be available at the event.

Ticket Price:

Regular | $20

A regular ticket includes:

  • Dance floor
  • Local SFU Entertainment
  • Food and desserts ($45 value)
  • 1 free non-alcoholic beverage
  • Games and prizes
  • Photo booth
  • Winter gift

IMPORTANT NOTICE: all tickets are non-refundable

What to bring:

  • Your ticket
  • Student ID
  • Government-issued ID or passport
  • Money to purchase beverages (if applicable)

Event Schedule:

  • 5:45pm: Doors open
  • 6:00pm Event commences
  • 7:00pm Dinner Service begins
  • 9:00pm: Event ends. Thank you for planning a safe ride home.

What to wear: There is no dress code. Dress up as you like to celebrate the season with festivity.

  • Rainbow Slaw with Mango, Toasted Coconut Flakes & Lime Cilantro Vinaigrette
  • Spicy Roasted Baby Potatoes with Grilled Eggplant, Peppers & Olives

  • Chocolate Cup filled with Yogurt Mousse topped with Honeycomb Crumb & Gold Flakes

During registration please note any dietary restrictions that you may have.

PLEASE NOTE: To order alcoholic beverages (for those 19 years of age or older), you will be asked to show 2 pieces of your government issued picture ID or passport.

Our selection of food will accommodate people with most food intolerance, restrictions and allergies. All of our food items will be labelled clearly but if you have special dietary restrictions that requires further attention, please contact intl_programs@sfu.ca.

  • Arriving by Public Transit: To plan your trip to the Segal Building, please visit the Translink Trip Planner.
  • If you are travelling from SFU Burnaby campus, a sample route has been listed below:
  1. Departing from: SFU TRANSPORTATION CENTRE BAY 1/2
  2. On route: R5 Burrard Station B-Line
  3. Arriving to: WESTBOUND W HASTINGS ST AT GRANVILLE ST
  4. Walk: 3 minutes (260m)
  5. Arrive at: Segal Building

Parking:

There are many parking garages located around SFU Vancouver. Two of the closest garages are the Imperial Parking garage at 450 West Cordova St and the Diamond Parking garage at 443 Seymour St. Both have hourly and monthly parking available.

If you are planning to bring a guest:

Due to the limited number of tickets, we are hoping that this event can benefit SFU students to the greatest extent. Each SFU student is allowed to bring three non-SFU guest. If you require more tickets please contact us at intl_programs@sfu.ca
