Event description

Description

Year of the X is a series of innovation festivals made in Germany which are centered around topics such as robotics, mobility, VR, IoT, biohacking, digital health and mindfulness. We go along with the Chinese horoscope and our theme changes every year. This year it is the Rooster.

In August, we go on a roadshow in the U.S. to recruit cool speakers who are keen to become keynotes at the next big festival in Munich, where we are expecting around 1000 attendees from start-ups, corporates, creative agencies and think tanks around the world. To find great speakers, we will host a few events in NY and SF with a few short speeches, meet & greet and drinks.

The selected speakers will be holding a keynote speech on topics around future of work, digital innovation or social impact at our next festival and are invited to our 33 Monkeys retreat as well - an exclusive innovation retreat of 33 people on a mountain hut with camp fires, workshops, yoga and so much more.

The Rooster is full of energy, breaks rules and focusses on execution. Whether you are a founder, lead a large corporate or are assigned to a challenging project: you will face obstacles. This is where you can apply real rooster energy, display resilience and break through barriers, where others give up.

As a speaker, we want you to share your ideas or your knowledge concerning the future of work in an increasingly digital world and the role of technology and social impact within it. We want you to share digital competency and an understanding of the latest technologies through speeches or hands-on workshops.

Are you interested? Swing by our event in New York (2nd August) or San Francisco (4th August), meet us and share your vision.
